Huron at Bodmin Jail, Cornwall

We’ve been talking about it for an age but we were finally able to meet up at Bodmin Jail for a shoot.

Man, it’s dark in there. This is probably the time and place to get a bit philosophical and ruminative about the nature of incarceration and the need for mental and physical freedoms but this is my blog and that’s just not my bag.

There was a bar. They serve gin and tonic. I think I need add nothing more…

Huron

I worked with Huron a fair bit last year. I shot stills for two of their music videos and did the photography for their album cover.

There’s talk of this being the last album they record so this may have been the last time we’ll have worked together. It’s quite sad. I’m miss my tattooed chums. They’re good to work with: chatty and smiley until you turn a camera on them when they come over all dark and moody. Grrr!

Mary Celeste

This time they were shooting the video for the title track of the new album ‘Mary Celeste’ at the Plymouth Music Collective.

It’s all been a wee bit quiet recently: life getting in the way of shooting so it was great to be out and about with the boys and shooting the images for the new album.
